Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The Organising Committee of the Malaysian Diabetes Educators Society (MDES) Workshop 2020: Diabetes Education : The Art and The Science is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Malaysia. In view of the current increasing outbreak, the COVID-19 had recently been declared a pandemic, it is with much regret that a postponement of the event is inevitable. The health and well-being of our colleagues, friends and all participants and employees are of the highest importance to us.

In this respect, please be informed that the workshop is tentatively postponed to 29th November 2020 at Connexion Conference and Events Centre, Nexus until further notice. We will continue to keep watch of the situation and will further notify of any updates.

Our thoughts are with all those impacted by the novel coronavirus, and the healthcare officers that are working tirelessly to combat this unforeseen situation.

We wish everyone well and may we collectively do our part to overcome this pandemic.
