This program is designed for any professionals who aspire to become leaders in the healthcare field.

MDES Workshop 2020: Diabetes Education : The Art and The Science

Dear Valued MDES Members,

We are pleased to announce that MDES will be organizing Diabetes Education Workshop : The Art and The Science.

Details are as below:

Date: 11th April 2020 (Saturday)
Venue: Connexion Conference & Event Centre @ Nexus

Background
In this workshop, MDES will proudly present you with our Malaysian Diabetes Education Manual (Second Edition) which aims to standardise the content and process for structured diabetes education in order to ensure the education and support received by individuals with diabetes and those at risk of diabetes are of high quality.

This workshop will provide hands-on training for the health professionals in order to help people with diabetes to achieve treatment goals.

Workshop objectives:
1. To introduce Malaysian Diabetes Education Manual (Second Edition).
2. To provide hands-on training in managing people with diabetes.
3. To discuss on exercise prescriptions for different groups of people with diabetes.

Who should attend?
Diabetes Educators, Nurses, Dietitians, Pharmacists, Assistant Medical Officers, Internal Medicine Specialists, Family Medicine Specialists, General Practitioners, Medical Officers.
